PHYSICAL SECURITY ASSESSMENTS

Find the gaps. Prioritize the risks. Strengthen the facility.

Independent physical security assessments for organizations that want a clearer picture of their facilities, security operations, and practical improvement priorities.

A facility security review built around your operation

An effective physical security assessment looks beyond cameras, locks, and equipment. It considers how people enter and move through a facility, where critical activities depend on security controls, and whether existing procedures work during a routine shift and an unexpected event.

Dynamic Security Solutions provides facility and program-level review support for commercial organizations, institutions, and government-related operations. DSS is based in Wichita, Kansas, and can support regional on-site work and appropriately scoped travel-based assessments nationwide.

Facility and perimeter review

Evaluate site layout, entry points, visitor management practices, environmental conditions, and how existing physical controls support the organization’s operating needs.

Access and accountability

Review authorization processes, access privileges, key and credential accountability, after-hours access arrangements, and operational handoffs.

Procedures and preparedness

Examine applicable post orders, incident reporting, escalation protocols, emergency coordination, and how staff understand security responsibilities.

Prioritized findings

Organize observations by operational significance, identify feasible corrective actions, and distinguish immediate improvements from longer-term projects.

HOW DSS APPROACHES THE WORK

Clear scope. Practical deliverables.

01

Define the scope

Identify locations, facilities, stakeholders, restrictions, and the questions the review should answer.

02

Gather evidence

Review permitted documents, interview appropriate personnel, and conduct agreed on-site observations.

03

Prioritize issues

Describe findings in terms of exposure, operational effect, practicality, and available controls.

04

Plan improvements

Deliver a readable summary with clear priorities, responsibilities, and suggested next actions.

Questions organizations ask

Is an assessment the same as an audit?

Not necessarily. An assessment focuses on identifying and understanding risks and potential improvements; an audit generally evaluates evidence against defined criteria. The scope can include both when appropriate.

Can DSS assess one location or several?

Yes. A review can focus on a single site or use a standardized approach across multiple locations, subject to scope and access.

Do you need access to confidential security details?

Only information needed for an agreed engagement. Sensitive drawings, camera configurations, and vulnerability details should not be submitted through the public website.

Request a physical security assessment discussion

Share the general requirement and desired timeframe. Please do not include sensitive facility drawings, credentials, or operational details in a public inquiry.
